This evening a few students organised a meetup to discuss thier current progress towards thier pilots license, and how they could help each other fill gaps in thier knowledge.
Lots of subjects were discussed, and it was great to see such enthusiasm from both the club and students, proactively working together to achieve their goals. A special thanks to Ian Chandler and Harry page for joining us on the evening and supporting our students.
Our monthly student evenings are informative and social, and each monthly focus on a particular subject in their sylabus. Next month we will be focusing on Navigation, and will be joined by flying instructor Harry Page, giving a lecture on the E6B flying computer, aka “The Whizz Wheel”
We invite all students to join us on the next evening to learn more about Navigation.
If you are interested in getting your private pilots license, and would like to find out more information about learning to fly at Southend Airport, contact the club via the trial lesson page, or give us a call.
