Stephen Webster Completes His Qualifying Cross Country at Seawing Flying Club!

A huge congratulations to Stephen Webster, who has successfully completed his Qualifying Cross Country (QXC) as part of his journey toward obtaining his Private Pilot Licence (PPL)!

Stephen took to the skies in G-BMXC, navigating his way between Southend, Shoreham, Lydd & back to Southend and ticking off one of the biggest milestones in PPL training. The QXC is a true test of a pilot’s skill and independence, requiring careful planning, confident radio work, and of course, solid airmanship—all of which Stephen demonstrated brilliantly.

This flight not only marks a major achievement, but also puts Stephen just one step away from becoming a fully qualified private pilot. The whole Seawing team is incredibly proud and excited to see what’s next in his aviation journey.
