Will Polston Nails His Qualifying Cross Country at Seawing Flying Club!

Another future pilot is well on his way! Congratulations to Will Polston, who has successfully completed his Qualifying Cross Country (QXC)—a major milestone on the path to earning his Private Pilot Licence (PPL).

Departing from Seawing Flying Club at Southend, Will took to the skies in G-BMXC, navigating his planned route with precision and professionalism. The QXC is no small feat—it demands solo cross-country flying to multiple airfields, demonstrating not only technical flying skill but also calm decision-making and solid navigation under pressure.

Will’s performance was a great example of the high standard we’ve come to expect from Seawing’s students. With the QXC behind him, the finish line for the PPL is now in sight.
